Volleyball Game Preview: Reseda Regents vs. Canoga Park Hunters

The Reseda Regents will take on the Canoga Park Hunters at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Reseda will be strutting in after a victory while Canoga Park will be coming in after a loss.

Reseda barely beat San Fernando the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Reseda blew past San Fernando 3-0 on Wednesday. The Regents haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

While Reseda won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-9, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Canoga Park came up short against Panorama on Wednesday and fell 3-1. The Hunters have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16.

Canoga Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Reseda, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 6-2.

Reseda beat Canoga Park 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does Reseda have another victory up their sleeve, or will Canoga Park turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
