Lincoln-Way West has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-12 record this season. As for Cathedral, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Lincoln-Way West didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against West Aurora on the 3rd. As for Cathedral, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hinsdale Central on the 2nd.
