Basketball Game Preview: Palmer Trinity Falcons vs. Saint Andrew's Scots

The Palmer Trinity Falcons will challenge the Saint Andrew's Scots at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Palmer Trinity has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 222 points over their last three matchups.

Last Friday, Palmer Trinity was able to grind out a solid win over Ransom Everglades, taking the game 66-56. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Raiders are ranked 570th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Palmer Trinity's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Graham Yanowitch led the charge by dropping a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. Yanowitch is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Andres Domenech was another key player, going 8 of 18 on his way to 20 points and six boards.

Meanwhile, Saint Andrew's strolled past Palm Beach Gardens with points to spare on Monday, taking the game 75-61.

Palmer Trinity pushed their record up to 17-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.0 points per game. As for Saint Andrew's, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-2 record this season.

Palmer Trinity was dealt a bruising 66-33 loss at the hands of Saint Andrew's in their previous meeting back in December of 2022. Thankfully for Palmer Trinity, Andrew Sineway (who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
