Basketball Game Preview: Millikan Rams vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

The Millikan Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Woodrow Wilson Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Millikan is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Jordan 97-75 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Rams have posted against the Panthers since April 26, 2021.

Jeremiah Hunt was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 16 on his way to 32 points along with eight assists and eight steals. His evening made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Joseph Wicker was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Millikan was working as a unit and finished the game with 31 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Woodrow Wilson blew past Compton, posting a 102-39 win. The Bruins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Woodrow Wilson's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-13. As for Millikan, their record now sits at 13-10.

Millikan beat Woodrow Wilson 66-57 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Millikan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
