Union Christian Day's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Gage, who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Landon Gregory, who scored 12 points.
Union Christian Day's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Union Christian Day will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hawthorne Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. As for Lighthouse Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Union Christian Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
