Volleyball Recap: Maine South Takes a Loss

Maine South lost against Glenbard West back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hilltoppers.

Leo Trespeces-Winck paced Maine South's offense, picking up seven kills. Trespeces-Winck got some help from Gabriel Redzic and his 17 assists.

Maine South's loss dropped their record down to 19-10. As for Glenbard West, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-3.

Maine South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Barrington on the 9th. As for Glenbard West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Vernon Hills on the 9th.
