Basketball Recap: Patuxent Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Patuxent was feeling good fresh off their 65-40 takedown of Calvert on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers were dealt a 76-32 defeat at the hands of the Great Mills Hornets on Monday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Hornets from their previous meeting back in January.

Demetrius Johnson and Kaleb Gross certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Johnson shot 64% from the field to rack up 17 points and eight rebounds, while Gross posted ten points and seven boards.

Patuxent's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Great Mills, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Patuxent and Central will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Great Mills will take on Leonardtown in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
