Volleyball Recap: Southington Comes Up Short

Southington was the 3-2 winner over Farmington when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the River Hawks on Wednesday. The Blue Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 21-25, 25-22.

When it comes to explaining why Southington lost, don't look at Emme Steindl. Despite the final result, she had 36 assists and eight digs.

Southington's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Farmington, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Southington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Bristol Eastern on the 12th. As for Farmington, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Maloney on the 12th.
