After a string of four wins, Marengo's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 50-31 bruising from the Greensboro Raiders. The match was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but the Panthers couldn't quite close it out.

Despite the loss, Marengo still got an impressive performance from DeVontae Tucker, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds. Tucker is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down 12 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Omar Autery, who posted four points and 16 rebounds.

Marengo's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Greensboro, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-6.

Marengo didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-34 win against Sweet Water on the 16th. Greensboro has also already played their next contest (against Sumter Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
