Basketball Recap: Braydon Schwartzkopf's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Baptist Academy over Valley Lutheran

Calvary Baptist Academy lost against Valley Lutheran back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Calvary Baptist Academy Kings received a blow as they fell 47-31 to the Valley Lutheran Chargers. The contest marked the Kings' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Calvary Baptist Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Braydon Schwartzkopf, who posted seven points and six rebounds. Schwartzkopf is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Charlie VanBeek was another key player, putting up five points and 11 rebounds.

Calvary Baptist Academy's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Valley Lutheran, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
