After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kiowa, Miami-Yoder was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Cripple Creek-Victor Pioneers. The victory continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won eight in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-19, 25-9.

Madison Kragel paced Miami-Yoder's offense, picking up nine kills. Kragel got some help from Miranda Howard and her 11 assists. Joanna Cabrera controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Miami-Yoder's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Looking ahead, Miami-Yoder will venture away from home to square off against Bethune at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Cripple Creek-Victor, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against South Park on the 16th.
