Basketball Recap: Cornell Comes Up Short

Cornell lost against Winter back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cornell Chiefs fell 67-59 to the Winter Warriors.

Cornell has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Winter, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cornell will host Prairie Farm at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Cornell's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Winter, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Auburn at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
