Chase Rivera Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Starting off the list is Peotone's Chase Rivera, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Rivera rushed for 300 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.5 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 117.1 rushing yards per game.
With the win, Peotone broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-3. Rivera will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Lisle on Friday.

The second Peotone player making an appearance here is Tucker Cain, and for good reason. He rushed for 151 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Peotone is undefeated when Cain posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Tanner Jones Makes It Two for Herscher
