Basketball Game Preview: El Dorado Wildcats vs. Lakeside Rams

El Dorado is 2-8 against Lakeside since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The El Dorado Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Lakeside Rams at 5:00 p.m. Lakeside took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on El Dorado, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for El Dorado against Hot Springs as the team secured a 69-34 victory. The game marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, Lakeside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 55-51 to Sheridan.

El Dorado's victory bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Lakeside, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 18-8.

El Dorado was dealt a bruising 57-28 loss at the hands of Lakeside in their previous meeting back in January. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lakeside's Payton Futch, who went 13-for-19 on her way to 30 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
