Mauldin fell victim to Woodmont and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. The Mavericks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mauldin now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Woodmont, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-12 record.
