Football Recap: Montgomery Central Comes Up Short

Montgomery Central suffered their biggest loss since October 25, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders 28-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Timberwolves were not able to get on the board.

T.W. Andrews can attribute much of their success to Jaden Taylor, who rushed for 56 yards and one score on only five carries.

Montgomery Central now has a losing record of 4-5. As for T.W. Andrews, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Montgomery Central has already played their next contest, a 27-7 defeat against Central Davidson on the 31st. As for T.W. Andrews, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 72-0 victory against High Point Central on the 30th.
