Recap: Williams Bulldogs vs. Person Rockets
After a string of three wins, the Williams Bulldogs's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They suffered a rough 68-48 defeat at the hands of Person. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Williams has suffered since November 30, 2023.
When it comes to explaining why Williams lost, one person who can't be blamed is Milton Turner. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaeden Smith, who scored 11 points.
Williams' loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Person, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
Williams won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Northeast Guilford at 8:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Person, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedar Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Ridge is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
