Ridgemont was sadly handed a defeat on Wednesday, but Kylie Shreve did her best to prevent it. Shreve wasn't messing around, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The game was her fifth straight with at least one stolen base.

Shreve and Ridgemont will be playing at home against Crestline at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Shreve's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Golden Gophers' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Shreve and the Golden Gophers surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Thursday's match.
