Basketball Recap: Goshen RedHawks vs. Jimtown Jimmies
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Warsaw, Goshen was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 28-19 win over the Jimtown Jimmies. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the RedHawks as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Goshen to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Yordy, who posted eight points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Yesenia Medina, who put up four points in addition to five boards and three steals.
Goshen's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Jimtown, they dropped their record down to 1-18 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.
