Softball Recap: Sipsey Valley Takes a Loss

Sipsey Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the West Blocton Tigers, falling 12-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in February.

Sipsey Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jules Lindsey, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sipsey Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for West Blocton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-5.

Sipsey Valley has already played their next contest, a 10-5 defeat against John Carroll Catholic on the 20th. As for West Blocton, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 loss against American Christian Academy on the 20th.
