It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Swink can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sedgwick County Cougars on Saturday. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their 17-game winning streak.

Taylor Mendenhall paced Swink's offense, picking up 20 kills. Mendenhall got some help from Kashlyn Blasingame and her 29 assists. Finally, Daisy Heberlie kept Swink's defense grounded, leading the team with nine blocks.

Swink's loss dropped their record down to 24-5. As for Sedgwick County, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 24-7.

Swink does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sedgwick County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Simla on the 15th.
