Baseball Recap: Benjamin Davis Has No Trouble Against Northbrook

Benjamin Davis lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Northbrook, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Benjamin Davis Falcons blew past the Northbrook Raiders 12-2 on Friday. The contest marked the Falcons' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Adan Ramirez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (one). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Benjamin Davis got a massive performance out of Keion Johnson, who scored three runs and stole Four bases. Jackson Taylor was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Benjamin Davis always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .677. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive games.
