Basketball Recap: Camden Central Comes Up Short

Camden Central lost against Waverly Central last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Camden Central Lions took a 54-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waverly Central Tigers. The Lions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Camden Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Waverly Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-13.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camden Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Harpeth at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Waverly Central, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Perry County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Perry County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season.
