Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Silver Foxes vs. Andress Eagles

Jefferson is 0-10 against Andress since December of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Jefferson Silver Foxes will head out on the road to face off against the Andress Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Jefferson is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight game on Friday. They took a 35-16 bruising from Canutillo.

Meanwhile, Andress played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 51-17 defeat at the hands of Chapin. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-7.

Andress has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-18 record this season. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-18.

Jefferson was taken down by Andress 47-20 when the teams last played back in January. Can Jefferson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
