Volleyball Recap: Lee County Yellow Jackets vs. Richmond Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pinecrest, Lee County was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Richmond Raiders 3-0. While the Yellow Jackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The final score came out to 28-26, 25-20, 25-17.
Lee County was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in August.
Lee County's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Richmond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.
Lee County will square off against Triton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Triton is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Lee County will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Richmond, they are taking a road trip to face off against Uwharrie Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
