Volleyball Recap: Huntington Finds Home Court Redemption Against Fairfield

There's no place like home for Huntington, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Fairfield Lions with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Huntsmen haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Huntington not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Fairfield between 15 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 25-17.

Brailee Hauswirth paced Huntington's offense, picking up 15 kills. Hauswirth got some help from Lydia Black and her 13 assists. Black was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Huntington's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Fairfield, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Huntington has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Westfall on the 23rd. Fairfield has also already played their next contest (against Peebles), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
