Softball Recap: Scripps Ranch Falcons vs. Canyon Hills Rattlers

Scripps Ranch put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Canyon Hills Rattlers an 11-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Scripps Ranch considering their two-run performance the match before.

Lily Eigen made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits over seven innings pitched. Eigen has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances.
