Basketball Recap: Brawley Extends Winning Streak to Three

Brawley won the last time they faced Coachella Valley and things went their way on Monday too. The Brawley Wildcats came out on top against the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs by a score of 63-52. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by exactly 11 points.

Coachella Valley's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sebastian Garcia, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 15 points, and Franky Aguirre, who posted 11 points and four steals. That's the most points Garcia has posted since back in November of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Diaz, who put up six points.

The win was the third in a row for Brawley, bringing their record for this year to 9-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Coachella Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-4.

Brawley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-45 victory against Calipatria on the 3rd. As for Coachella Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-57 win against Twentynine Palms on the 7th.
