Soccer Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Boiling Springs was not quite Wade Hampton's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to the Wade Hampton Generals. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Generals recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Wade Hampton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boiling Springs will head out to challenge Gaffney at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Boiling Springs is facing Gaffney at the right time seeing as Gaffney is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Wade Hampton will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on March 24th.
