Volleyball Recap: St. Maries Lumberjacks vs. Timberlake Tigers
St. Maries was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberlake Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lumberjacks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Tuesday.
While St. Maries had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-19.
St. Maries' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Timberlake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-3.
St. Maries will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against West Valley at 11:00 a.m. As for Timberlake, they will take on East Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
