Volleyball Recap: Fellowship Baptist Academy Triumphs

Fellowship Baptist Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Fostoria Baptist Academy Crusaders 3-2. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Crusaders, too.

Fellowship Baptist Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20, 15-6.

Lilli St. Louis paced Fellowship Baptist Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. St. Louis got some help from Addi McAlvey and her 17 assists. McAlvey also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Abigail Thompson, each putting up eight.

Fellowship Baptist Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-11-1. As for Fostoria Baptist Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Fellowship Baptist Academy will square off against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fostoria Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
