Baseball Recap: Berean Christian Comes Up Short

Berean Christian has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.09 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Foothill Falcons, falling 12-3. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Falcons recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Damon Neu made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Max McTighe was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Foothill, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berean Christian will take on Concord at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Foothill, they will challenge Dublin at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
