Coventry faced Cranston West in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Oakers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Oakers this season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Coventry took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-13.

Coventry has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. As for Cranston West, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.
