Baseball Recap: Fayette Academy Wins Going Away Against Harding Academy

Fayette Academy won against Ripley last Monday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went the Fayette Academy Vikings' way against the Harding Academy Lions as the Fayette Academy Vikings made off with a 9-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won six in a row.

Ben Brewer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on one hit and racked up 11 Ks. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, Fayette Academy got a massive performance out of Mason Bragorgos, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Jared Ferge, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
