Softball Recap: Trinity Catholic Takes a Loss

The Trinity Catholic Celtics lost 11-2 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals on Monday. The Celtics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Koehn was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base. Amie Miranda also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Trinity Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Bishop Snyder, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity Catholic will challenge Montverde Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bishop Snyder, they will face off against Creekside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
