Basketball Recap: Elma Falls Despite Big Games from Traden Carter and Isaac Mcgaffey

On Wednesday, the Elma Eagles came up short against the Fort Vancouver Trappers and fell 68-55.

Isaac McGaffey and Traden Carter certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. McGaffey went 8-for-15 en route to 20 points in addition to seven boards and four steals, while Carter posted 19 points and seven rebounds. McGaffey is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. Theo Flores was another key player, putting up six points along with five assists and three steals.

Elma's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Fort Vancouver, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Elma nor Fort Vancouver have any future games scheduled.
