With a playoff win on the line, Seaman rose to the challenge on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Highland Park Scots an 11-0 shutout. Considering Seaman have won nine games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Highland Park from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Ava Golightly led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Seaman pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Highland Park, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-9-1 record.

Coming up, Seaman will square off against Basehor-Linwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Seaman are facing Basehor-Linwood at the right time seeing as Basehor-Linwood are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Highland Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
