Dunkirk pushed their record up to 8-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Frewsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
Looking ahead, Dunkirk will challenge Chautauqua Lake at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Dunkirk knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Chautauqua Lake likes a good challenge.
