Basketball Game Preview: Vidalia Indians vs. Savannah Country Day Hornets

The Vidalia Indians will face off against the Savannah Country Day Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Vidalia is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Dodge County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 67-52 bruising from the Indians. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Vidalia came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Dodge County is ranked 309th).

Meanwhile, Savannah Country Day posted their closest win since December 10, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Bethesda Academy, sneaking past 53-50.

Savannah Country Day's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Vidalia, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
