Basketball Recap: Lakota East Finds Home Court Redemption Against Hamilton

There's no place like home for Lakota East, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Hamilton Big Blue with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 59-45. Given the Thunderhawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Big Blue are ranked 352nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lakota East's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will be playing in front of their home fans against Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oak Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
