Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the ASTEC Charter Comets 72-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Red Tornadoes considering their 26-point performance the matchup before.

Clinton's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6. As for ASTEC Charter, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

After both having extra time off, Clinton and Weatherford will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for ASTEC Charter, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Dove Science Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
