Choctawhatchee won the last time they faced Navarre and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians managed a 24-18 win over the Raiders. The final result isn't all the surprising considering the Indians' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Raiders are ranked 80th).

Although Navarre took the loss, they still got scores from Avery Didion, Aubrey Piehota, and Breanna Shaw.

Choctawhatchee's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Navarre, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-5 record.

Looking ahead, Choctawhatchee will be playing in front of their home fans against Niceville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 10.8, the Eagles 13.1) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Navarre, they will be playing at home against Fort Walton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
