Volleyball Recap: Castaic Takes a Loss

Castaic came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the West Ranch Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Castaic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-23, 25-14.

Castaic's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for West Ranch, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.

Castaic has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Golden Valley on the 6th. As for West Ranch, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Canyon on the 6th.
