Basketball Recap: The Habersham School Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

The Habersham School won the last time they faced Heritage Christian Academy, and Maddie Viles did her part to make sure it happened again. The Habersham School Patriots enjoyed a cozy 56-38 victory over the Heritage Christian Academy Eagles on Monday thanks in part to Viles, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 13 boards. Those 29 points gave her a new career-high.

Another player making a difference was Myla Shippy, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. She has been hot, having also posted three or more steals the last six times she's played.

The Habersham School has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

The Habersham School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Trinity Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Trinity Christian's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Heritage Christian Academy has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
