Soccer Recap: Statesville Starts Season with Win on the Road

Statesville had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 10-1 margin over the North Wilkes Vikings on Tuesday.

Statesville's offense was hitting North Wilkes from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Johnathon Aguilar led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Statesville will venture away from home to face off against Elkin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Wilkes, they will challenge East Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
