Basketball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss

After flying high against Varnum last Thursday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Fairview Yellowjackets took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Indian Braves.

Fairview's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-9. As for Riverside Indian, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Fairview has already played their next game (against Thomas-Fay-Custer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Riverside Indian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-45 loss against Cashion on the 25th.
