Holly Hill Academy's game on Wednesday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell 54-41 to the Jefferson Davis Academy Raiders. Holly Hill Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured five defeats in a row.

Holly Hill Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Milly Kate Prescott, who posted 17 points and five boards. That was a full 41.5% of Holly Hill Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Kaley Bell was another key player, putting up five points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Holly Hill Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.

Holly Hill Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Dorchester Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Jefferson Davis Academy, they will challenge Curtis Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
