Irvin (Texas) pulls out all the stops and the most unique formation of the season in regular season-ending defeat.

Texas squad fools Bowie to score with perfect execution during a season-ending loss.

It's called the "centipede" and it's a thing of beauty.

That's largely because it's so unique. Jim Harbaugh has run it at Michigan, though they call it the "train."

It's also pretty when it works. And boy did it ever work perfectly Friday in Texas.

Ten players line up in single file behind center to simply confuse the defense. Then at "set," everyone shifts into regular formation before a quick snap.

The "centipede" was pulled off Friday by Irvin (El Paso, Texas) during a regular season-ending 42-27 loss at Bowie.

Adam Knutson, who had just 378 yards passing and three touchdowns heading into the game, lofted a perfect pass to a wide-open Devon Driscoll for the 60-yard touchdown. It was Driscoll's first TD reception of the year.

No one can say the Rockets didn't go down with a fight. Or a new look.
