Primero's victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-0. As for Cotopaxi, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
Primero was dealt a bruising 67-13 defeat at the hands of Cotopaxi in their previous matchup back in October of 2022. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Primero was down 55-7.
