Jonesboro never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past the Spalding Jaguars, posting a 27-0 victory. The Cardinals' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a point in their last three games.

Jonesboro got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jaysie Daily out in front who rushed for 110 yards and two TDs on only five carries. Kayla George was in the mix too, providing the Cardinals with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jonesboro was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 270 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 160 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Jonesboro pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Spalding, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Jonesboro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 39-0 win against Mary Persons on the 20th. Spalding has also already played their next matchup (against Lovett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
